Does GTA 6 have online multiplayer?

Not at launch, as far as anyone has announced. Take-Two’s pre-order announcement and the PlayStation and Xbox store pages describe GTA 6 as a single-player game. Rockstar hasn’t announced a GTA 6 Online mode or a date for one. Anything you read about a “2027 online launch” is speculation, not an announcement.

Is GTA 6 crossplay?

There’s nothing to cross-play yet. With no online mode announced, Rockstar hasn’t said anything about crossplay between PS5 and Xbox.

Do I need PS Plus or Game Pass to play GTA 6?

No subscription is listed as a requirement. The store listings don’t mention PS Plus or Game Pass, and the PlayStation page lists offline play as supported. Both stores say some features may need an internet connection and a Rockstar Games account, without saying which. You will need an internet connection to download the game, including from a boxed copy.

How much does GTA 6 cost?

In the UK: £69.99 for the Standard Edition, £89.99 for the Ultimate Edition. See editions, prices and the pre-order bonus.

How big is the GTA 6 map?

Rockstar’s head of development, Aaron Garbut, told Edge magazine that Leonida is about the size of the GTA 4, GTA 5 and Red Dead Redemption 2 maps put together, with far more enterable interiors than GTA 5. Rockstar hasn’t given an official size in square miles or kilometres, so treat any exact figure you see as a fan estimate.

Where is GTA 6 set, and who are the main characters?

GTA 6 is set in the state of Leonida, centred on Vice City (Rockstar’s take on Miami), with areas such as Grassrivers, Port Gellhorn and the Leonida Keys. You play as Jason Duval and Lucia Caminos. More in everything confirmed so far.

What is GTA 6’s age rating?

PEGI 18 in the UK and Europe and M (Mature 17+) from the ESRB in the US. The ratings list strong violence, drugs, nudity and sexual content, plus an “In-Game Purchases” label. Rockstar hasn’t explained what those purchases are.

Are there cheats in GTA 6?
