Pre-order bonus: Vintage Vice City Pack
Every pre-order gets the Vintage Vice City Pack:
- a ‘55 Vapid Stanier, with a personal garage and weapon locker
- outfits and hairstyles for Jason and Lucia
- a Vice City palm-tree weapon pattern
Digital pre-orders also get one free month of GTA+. It renews automatically, so cancel it if you don’t want to pay.
What the Ultimate Edition adds
On top of everything in Standard, Ultimate adds extra content spread through Jason and Lucia’s story:
- Vehicles: ‘95 Grotti Cheetah, ‘67 Vapid Dominator Buggy, Dinka Enduro motorbike, Crest Kayak and Shitzu Squalo watercraft
- Weapons: Hawk and Little Morgan revolvers, plus personalised Girardi ES9 and Klose K17 pistols
- Clothing: the Goodtime Gear and Vice City Style collections
- Businesses: two mod shops (Rideout Customs and One-Eyes “W”illies), Sara’s Unisex Salon, Electric Fang Tattoo and the Stock 305 clothing store
- Extra jobs: a gang compound raid and a Classic Car Collection commission
Boxed copy or digital?
In the UK, the boxed version is a code in a box: there’s no game on a disc, and you download it either way. A digital pre-order has two advantages:
- You can pre-load from 10 November. Boxed copies reach shops on 12 November, and you still need to download the full game.
- You get the free GTA+ month.
The boxed copy is mainly worth it as a gift or a collector’s item.
Which edition should you get?
- Standard has the full story. Most players need nothing more.
- Ultimate is worth it if you want the extra cars, guns and businesses early. Since you can upgrade later, starting with Standard costs you nothing.
Prices are from the UK PlayStation Store at launch of pre-orders and can change. Check the store before buying.
